So Is “Chinese Virus” Racist Or Not? (& A Few Words On Bill Maher)
OK, let’s get one thing straight once and for all; “IT’S NOT RACIST TO CALL THE CORONAVIRUS THE CHINESE VIRUS SINCE THE VIRUS ORIGINATED IN CHINA!!!!” I say this, of course, since there are still people-primarily on “woke” sites like Twitter-who keep insisting how RACIST it is to keep referring to this virus that has thus far killed hundreds of thousands not only in China but all over the world the Chinese Virus.
This point was recently driven home by controversial “liberal” comedian and talk show host Bill Maher who put out a video lamenting how it’s not RACIST to call a virus after the place where it originated from. Of course, Bill claimed how “insensitive” it was to call this virus the “Wuhan flu” during the last episode of his HBO show Real Time With Bill Maher with the audience that he shut down due to the coronavirus a.k.a. the Chinese Virus a.k.a. the Wuhan flu. (Of course, listening to the likes of Bill Maher-who once wore a Halloween costume mocking the then-recent passing of Steve Irwin a.k.a. the Crocodile Hunter with a bloody stingray barb sticking out of his chest-lecturing others about being “sensitive” is akin to listening to Michael Vick lecturing someone about animal cruelty but I digress!) And, of course, Bill got denounced as being a RACIST on “woke” sites like Twatter and on “woke” media sites like The Daily Beast. To which I say to ALL of these “woke” people:
STFU.
Seriously, “wokesters”, you’ve lost THIS argument. I know, I know you’re used to “winning” arguments not because you’re right but because you bully, browbeat and/or threaten people’s very livelihoods-and sometimes even their very lives-who dare disagree with you. But if there’s ONE good thing that’s come out of this godforsaken virus is that people are finally standing up to all of this “woke” PC BS and especially to those who espouse it mainly because, of course, hundreds of thousands of people have died due to the CHINESE VIRUS.
Yeah, I know. RACIST!
Now, to be fair, Bill Maher DID blast Donald Trump’s “response” to this virus in a previous video. But, as is always the case with the “wokesters” on Twatter and elsewhere, it doesn’t matter how “woke” you may have been before if you say the least little thing to “trigger” these people-and, of coures, it doesn’t take MUCH!-they’ll come down on you like an air conditioner falling out of a window!
